The Company:

Our client is a well known company in the technology and software industry. They have offices worldwide and are a leader within the industry. They are currently looking for a Spanish and English speaking Technical Architect based in Spain, Madrid.

The Role: The person will be responsible for providing pre and post technical sales and will involve the design and development of software applications and the implementation of these software solutions. There will be a high degree of travel involved, up to 4 days per week as it is a very much client facing role. This role will be working from Madrid and be responsible for the whole region.
Candidate Profile:
The role requires someone with a strong design and development background who enjoys customer facing roles and displays a quick thinking approach to integrating software. Skills wise - the person is likely to have a strong background in C++ or Java development with object data (ideally .Net) experience. The successful candidate will have a proven application development experience and strong leadership skills demonstrated by project management responsibilities. The person will need to show a proven ongoing involvement with the design and coding of complex applications. The candidate needs to have an understanding of the business considerations of application development, support and deployment.
Candidate should preferably have 5 years or more experience in the following:
-Object technologies
-Relational database concepts, SQL, ODBC and JDBC
-Web technologies including XML, HTML, Java, Java- and VBScript
-User interface environments such as Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Delphi
-Operating Systems including Windows NT/95; UNIX and Open VMS
-Exposure to system languages such as C, C++, shell scripting
Must be fluent to a native level in Spanish along with excellent English or equivalent.

The Company

The group are currently undertaking an aggressive expansion in Eastern Europe through numerous acquisitions and will create a central function to manage this. The Role
In this role your initial brief will be to assist the new companies assimilation into the group as well as completing risk based `deep dive` audits. Alongside this you will also be tasked with undertaking reviews of the existing group companies internationally and in the London Head Office. To apply for this role you will be a Big 4 trained Chartered Accountant with at least two Eastern European languages. The preference for this will be Russian and German although any combination will suffice and fluent English is a pre requisite.
